Sunday Mornings at Kingsgate
Our main aim on a Sunday morning is to worship God, enjoy being together and learn from God through the Bible.
Our service kicks off at 10.30am with a time of sung worship led by a band. During this time, you may hear people express their love for God by praying out loud, singing a new song, raising their hands or sharing what they feel God is saying to them.
At around 11am the children’s groups begin. You can find out more about our children's groups here.
After the sung worship, upcoming events will be announced and baskets will be circulated to collect the offering. This is an opportunity for regular members of the church to give money to the church as part of our worship to God. Many give by other means, however, such as by standing order. There is no obligation to give, particularly if you are visiting. For more information about giving to Kingsgate Church please visit the giving page.
Next there will be a talk from the Bible. To listen to our recent sermons click here. The service will usually end with another time of singing and there will be opportunity to receive prayer.
Refreshments are served after the service at about 12 noon, which is a great time to make new friends and catch up with old ones.
Free parking is available either in the School’s forecourt as you enter the Grove Road entrance or along the neighbouring residential streets.
We want everyone who comes to Kingsgate Church to feel welcome and looked after. Therefore, if you would like to arrange in advanced for someone to meet you and show you around, please contact us. If you have any questions on the day, please ask the welcome team who will be more than happy to help.
